The Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond is an opportunity presented to the citizens of Forsyth County Georgia  on the February 5th, 2008 election ballot.  Its about Breathing. Playing. Living. Preserving a legacy for our children by investing in a greener and healthier Forsyth County.

• The public will have access to the parks, recreation areas and green space forever!
• Securing green space today helps protect the water quality of our rivers, lakes and streams.
• By law, the County must conduct an annual audit of how the money is spent.
• Additional lands will be purchased from willing sellers only, with no land condemnation.
• Bond funds may be matched with federal, state and private money to purchase land.
• This bond will supplement impact fees to help our county meet our growing needs.
